OBX to Observation

OBX to Observation. FHIR R4 targets: Observation. See the v2-to-FHIR IG.

OBX-2 and OBX-5 choose a single FHIR value[x] at runtime. SN uses Quantity / Ratio / Range. ED Base64 uses the R5 Observation.valueAttachment extension. OBX-6 only attaches to Quantity, never as a second value[x]. Empty OBX-3 becomes Observation.code with data-absent-reason unknown — valid R4, not an invented code.

All 25 OBX fields as defined in HL7 v2.5.1.
